ACCT11059 – Three Favourite Blog Posts

Hi everyone, here are my three favourite blogs from the various blogs that I’ve viewed over the time. I personally thought that everyone’s blogs looked great and all communicated a primary message. I’ve chosen these three blogs for a specific reason and here’s why.

Blog Post #1: Tahliah Evans – https://journaljunkiesblog.wordpress.com/

Having already obtained prior knowledge about Aurizon made me eager to observe what someone else learnt and thought about Aurizon. Tahlia provided her readers a thorough and comprehensive explanation into the company Aurizon and into their job profession. I thoroughly enjoyed reading Tahlia’s blog post as her blog in general was easy to navigate around, her various blog posts were clear and precise with what she was communicating to her readers and the layout of her blog made it inviting and welcoming to her readers. Some of her facts and figures that she mentioned were new to me. One comment that stuck out the most for me was that ‘Aurizon each year transports 250 million tons of Australian commodities, which are networks, coal, iron, and freight’. I learnt a lot from this statistic. I learnt of how big of a transporting company Aurizon is and how much they transport each and every year.

Blog Post #2: Kaitlin Andrews – https://katieandrewsbusiness.wordpress.com/

Having never heard of SMS Technology and Management before I was eager to read upon what Katie found out about this firm and their job profession to help expand my knowledge as I have never heard of this firm before. I learnt a lot from reading Katie’s blog posts about SMS Technology and Management. After reading Katie’s posts I was well educated about SMS Technology and Management’s. Katie’s firm helps their clients improve their business performance by designing, building and operating business and technology projects. I in particular liked Katie’s blog posts due to the fact that her blog was easy to navigate around and her use of clear font and print appealed to me and made me want to read her blog. One main aspect of Katie’s blog that I loved was how she included small YouTube clips about the functions of SMS Technology and Management and also another one on why other businesses choose SMS Technology and Management to handle their business needs. Both these clips were educational to my benefit.

Blog Post #3: Sophie Coleman – https://sophiecolemanblog.wordpress.com/

I was interested in knowing more about Sophie’s firm of Australian Pharmaceuticals Industries. After reading Sophie’s posts I was well educated about Australian Pharmaceuticals Industries. Sophie’s firm is the partner company of Priceline Pharmacy, Pharmacist Advice, and Soul Pattinson Chemist. Throughout her blog, Sophie provided her readers a thorough and comprehensive explanation into her company and its operations. I liked this blog because Sophie has begun to tell her readers a story into her listed company by giving us a rundown of what’s going on in her firm and some of the key events that had occurred within her firm over the years. I in particular liked Sophie’s blog posts due to the fact that her blog was easy to navigate around and her use of clear font and print appealed to me and made me want to read her blog.

Overall, by reading other people’s blog posts about their firm and its job profession helped me to better understand certain key aspects of my own firm and made me look at other specific areas of my firm that I didn’t think was of importance. While I was reading other people’s blogs, yes I learnt a lot about their firms and in particular how they manage their business, but mainly it helped me to investigate into areas of my own firm that I didn’t already looked into.
